Neighborhood tour

The day dawned bright and clear and cold. Late this morning, I tramped about my sparkly neighborhood with the camera. Come take a walk with me!

Whew! It's brisk out there. Time to settle in by the fireplace with a cuppa and some oatmeal raisin cookies.

Oooh! You live in a lovely neighborhood, and your house is gorgeous, and Phoebe is darling--what does she think of the snow? My two were just out wrestling in it.

Thank you on all counts! Phoebe seems to like the snow. We have a number of vacant lots in the neighborhood (where houses once stood), and we usually go to one of them take care of her business. I had intended to keep her on the sidewalk on our late afternoon walk. She surprised me by taking off across virgin snow where she had herself a lively romp.
