Ever heard of Stitch & Pitch? Neither had I until this year. Essentially, a bunch of knitters, crocheters, and other needlework fanatics do their best to take over a ball park on a given night. And July 17th was Stitch & Pitch Night at our local minor league franchise, the Yuba Sutter Gold Sox. We ladies who frequent the Sew-So Shop (and those spouses who were brave enough to be seen with us) descended en masse at the stadium and had ourselves a grand time watching the Sox beat the sox off of the Sacramento Legends while making a little progress on our works-in-progress.

And such is the substance of my life. *beam*

That ballpark event sounds like fun. I love minor league games even without knitting, though.

They do it at major league parks, too. Check with the LYSs in your area. Surely one of them has organized a night out at the game.
