Neighborhood tour
The day dawned bright and clear and cold. Late this morning, I tramped about my sparkly neighborhood with the camera. Come take a walk with me!

Whew! It's brisk out there. Time to settle in by the fireplace with a cuppa and some oatmeal raisin cookies.

So, how was your day?

Oh, and worry not about getting Phoebe's name right. The kennel that named her spelled it "Febie." Sheesh.

I'm at work...I'll give you one guess as to how my day is. ;-) Actually, I shouldn't complain...it's been quiet.

I couldn't have gone to work today even if I wanted to. The streets are thick with ice, and according to the evening news, the interstate was a parking lot.

SQUEEEE
Such a cute neighborhood. I love it. I should go take pictures of mine at night. Cause by day it's rather ick with just the dead winter look. Spring is glorious in California, so I'll tke pictures then. :D
When I"m crazy enough to drive accross country with the kids, I'll make sure we stop by. (trust me, we're flying this summer. Maybe the summer after they'll survive.)

Re: SQUEEEE
I wish I could take credit for the paint, but that's what was on the walls when we moved in. The owner had three colors custom-tinted to match three colors in the paisley border: teal, royal blue, and a brick red. The office is royal blue, and our bedroom and the dining room are painted in the red. The office and MBR are far too messy to post a photo, and not likely to be presentable anytime soon, but when spouse gets done using my dining table to make bread and the dining room gets set to rights again, I'll post a photo to show you the gorgeous red in that room.

You have a beautiful neighborhood
Your neighborhood is beautiful. And it actually looks alot like my new town, even though I'm way up here in New Jersey.
Cheers!
