Fun with tendonitis

I finally went to the doctor Tuesday about my aching arm. At intake, the nurse asked me how I hurt it. I told her I did too much knitting, crocheting and computering over the holidays. When doctor entered the exam room, she remarked, "I've never seen a knitting injury before." *snerk*

Anyway, it's tendonitis. After an X-ray to make sure nothing was broken, doctor gave me a cortisone shot and told me to stay away from excessive computer use and yarn work for a while. I'll guess I'll be spending my evenings reading for the next few days. Oh the horror. ;-)

By the way, shendoah, I asked doctor about massage therapists in the area who did "computer massage"; she never heard of such a thing. Go figure.
