Girly stuff

Although, like emperor_fool, I generally don't pay much attention to fashion, I heard something a few days ago which brought me joy.

Spouse often asks me why I keep certain things, like shoes and dresses and purses and other stuff that gets carted from house to house through move after move. This is why.

Cowboy boots are "back."

I own two pair of fashion cowboy boots, as opposed to working cowboy boots, neither pair of which have been worn anytime in the last ten years. They are soooo late 80s, early 90s.

I wore a pair today. Because they're "back." Looked pretty good with my mid-calf length skirt. But somewhere around hour six, my feet started protesting and my toes cramped up. Oh yeah! says the voice inside my head. Now I remember why I never wore these to work. Ouch. More joy.

Spouse had to pull the boots off for me when I got home. He was too busy smirking at my predicament to give me a foot massage. The booger.

But cowboy boots are back!
