1. Total number of books owned? -- 1,188.
2. The last book I bought? -- Being Methodist In The Bible Belt by F. Belton Joyner Jr.
3. The last book I read? -- The Dark Tower, Volume 1: The Gunslinger by Stephen King. I'm re-reading the whole series before diving into The Wolves Of The Calla and the rest of the story.
4. Five books that mean a lot to me? -- My massive, well-worn old volume of The Annotated Shakespeare, edited by A.L. Rowse; a Better Homes & Gardens cookbook; The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck; Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions; Psalms.

Movies:

1. Total number of films I own on DVD/video? -- Four on DVD; on video, fewer than ten (they're packed away somewhere so I'm not sure how many exactly).
2. The last film I bought? -- I'm not certain. I think it was X-Men 2: X-Men United. Does it count that I almost bought the original The Manchurian Candidate at Target the other day?
3. The last film I watched? -- The entire Godfather series; I borrowed the DVDs from my mother.
4. Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me? -- Citizen Kane; Charlie And The Chocolate Factory; All About Eve; Dr. Strangelove or virtually any other Kubrick film; Raiders Of The Lost Ark
