oh. my. gosh.

I should have had the camera with me to take a picture of the total on the gas pump. Because I still don't believe I paid over $50.00 for 14 gallons of gasoline today. Thank heavens spouse's and my commutes are as short as they are. I wonder how the people who drive into Sacramento daily are managing?

I just put $110 in the Suburban today. That's about one weeks worth of gas. I don't see any other options though, as long as we have this business. As it is, we've removed the 3rd seat and folded down the middle seat, and it is filled stem to stern each workday. We need more, not less, space in a vehicle.

Spouse said it cost $85 to fill up his truck the other day. Unbelievable.

Some of us with really long commutes are very happy that we bought a hybrid!

We plan to replace my car with a hybrid after spouse's truck is paid off. Then you'll get to hear me gripe about how high the monthly payments are. *grin*

I have a 21 gallon tank. I passed $50 a fill up EONS ago.

So, size really matters, in this case. *grin*

I like my 50mpg motorcycle. The RV...well, we're not driving it much, nor do we ever intend to. It will definitely be a very slow road trip when we go on it.

My parents and I figured out on the phone that they are currently paying about $10/gallon.

If you do come to this neighborhood next weekend, the highway 12 gas station (Arco) is the cheapest one for miles. Cash only, though.

I know the UK and Europe have much higher fuel prices than the US, but it's still a major sticker shock. Thanks for the Arco tip.

Oh yeah. Definitely sticker shock. ;)
